Donated School Supplies
May 2011: Thanks to the efforts of Emily Roose, her fellow Spanish students at Valley Southwoods High School in Urbandale, Iowa and teachers Lisa Sobotka and Betty Baum-Ferree, our students in the California community received a multitude of school supplies. With a student population of over 120 students in preschool through 6th grade, these supplies will benefit children of all ages and levels. Just down the road, students in the San Diego area received sports equipment to use during recess times. The students were thrilled with their new materials and couldn’t wait to try them out.
