Hope and Development Teachers Attend a Week-long Summer Camp for Secondary English Teachers.
January 2011: Three H&D teachers were invited to attend the US Embassy’s English Camp for teachers. The camp, entitled “FACE – Fluency, Accuracy and Confidence in English” was held in Granada. As a result of this opportunity our teachers have gained both confidence in their English, as well as new ideas and enthusiasm for their teaching.
Helio and Henry shared a new game they learned with the other H&D English teachers at our most recent workshop, while Ruby led us is an activity that encouraged both personal reflection as well as group relationships.
